Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Managing the financial reporting process, the full-time remote Accounting Manager will oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements, ensure compliance with GAAP, and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the preparation of monthly financial statements for bank and management reporting
- Coordinate with international accounting personnel to ensure timely and accurate financial closes
- Lead the preparation of financial variance analysis reports and implement internal controls
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; Master's degree preferred
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, preferably at the manager level
- Thorough understanding of GAAP and experience with footnote disclosures
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced skills, including Pivot Tables and Vlookups
- Certification (or working toward) such as CPA, CA, or CMA is preferred
