Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Managing the financial reporting process, the full-time remote Accounting Manager will oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements, ensure compliance with GAAP, and coordinate with international subsidiaries to provide accurate financial information.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation of monthly financial statements for bank and management reporting
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and assist in the preparation of audited annual financial statements
• Lead the implementation of internal controls and process improvements while compiling and analyzing financial information for reporting activities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, with recent experience at the manager level
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced skills such as Pivot Tables and Vlookups
• Certification (or working toward) such as CPA, CA, or CMA is preferred
