Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Managing financial reporting for a portfolio of chapters, the remote Lead Manager, Accounting will oversee monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and serve as a liaison to chapter leadership while providing guidance and support to the accounting team.

Key responsibilities:

• Leads and manages the accounting team, setting expectations and ensuring timely delivery of results
• Oversees financial needs of chapters, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Acts as primary liaison for chapters, providing financial reports and analysis on account activity

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting and/or financial reporting experience, preferably in nonprofit accounting
• At least 2 years of people leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is strongly preferred
