Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing the Accounting and Accounts Payable departments, the full-time Accounting Manager will manage financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support strategic planning while working in a hybrid environment based in El Segundo, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Meets accounting operational standards by contributing financial information and resolving problems
• Oversees financial accounting operations, including general ledger and bank reconciliations
• Maintains the integrity of accounting records and ensures compliance with GAAP and internal controls

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 4 years in mortgage lending or real estate finance
• Hands-on loan accounting experience and understanding of loan-level transactions
• 3+ years of people management experience leading accounting professionals
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and accounting policies
