Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare organization, the part-time remote Accounting Manager will manage the accounting department, provide mentorship to staff accountants, and ensure timely financial reporting and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the accounting department and provide technical direction and support
- Establish and monitor internal controls and develop accounting policies and procedures
- Coordinate annual audits and ensure timely completion of the monthly closing process
Required qualifications
- Seven or more years of experience in accounting
- Two to three years of progressive management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Experience with NetSuite ERP preferred
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and current accounting practices
