Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Leading the accounting functions in a full-time virtual capacity, the Accounting Manager will ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP, focusing on revenue recognition and technical accounting while collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and develop efficient accounting processes.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze financial data and reports to validate results and ensure accurate accounting
- Lead the revenue recognition process in accordance with ASC 606, including contract analysis and performance obligations
- Prepare and review journal entries and financial statements as part of the monthly close process
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Four years of experience in public or private accounting
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial/accounting systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
