Accounting Manager (GovCon)

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager (GovCon).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounting cycle, including month-end close, consolidations, and financial statements
• Serve as backup Unanet Systems Administrator, ensuring system functionality and user support
• Prepare and submit state and federal financial reports while supporting project teams with financial management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a government contracting environment
• Proven expertise as a Unanet administrator
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP, FAR, CAS, and DCAA compliance
• Preferred: CPA or CMA certification or actively pursuing one
