Accounting Operations Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Operations Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations, focusing on accounts payable, payroll, and benefit-related processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and vendor maintenance
• Support payroll processing activities and related reconciliations
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for payroll-related liabilities and prepare routine general ledger entries

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 2-4 years of accounting experience, particularly in accounts payable and payroll processing
• Foundational understanding of general ledger accounting and basic accounting principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating across multiple time zones
