Accounting Operations Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Operations & Job Cost Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and mentor the accounting team for accurate transactional accounting
• Direct the month-end close process, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate financial reporting
• Collaborate with project teams to monitor budget performance and conduct job-cost reviews

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting leadership experience, preferably in construction or commercial roofing
• Strong expertise in month-end close and construction WIP accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including SQL and ODBC connectors
• Experience with SAGE 100 (MAS) and Concur/SAP Expense reporting is a plus
