Accounting Operations Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Operations Process Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of journal entries and reconciliations, identifying issues and implementing process improvements
• Lead the development and implementation of process improvements using technology and best practices
• Serve as a subject matter expert on complex accounting projects and partner with auditors for efficient audit processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Four years' experience in a business-related role preferred
• Advanced/expert Excel skills, including programming in VBA and Power Query
• Proven ability to efficiently use accounting systems
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of developing and implementing effective process improvements
