Accounting Operations Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the Accounting Operations team, the full-time remote Accounting Operations Processor will assist with financial processes, including accounts payable and receivable, bank lockbox processing, and exception funding management, while collaborating on projects and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collection processes to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
• Manage bank lockbox processing activities and oversee Health Savings Account (H.S.A.) transactions
• Collaborate with the Director of Accounting Operations on special projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with a Third-Party Administrator (TPA)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; minimum of an Associate's degree in a related field is required
• Solid understanding of core products, including FSA, HRA, COBRA, and H.S.A
• Ability to read and comprehend financial ledgers with a fundamental understanding of banking operations
• Proficient in navigating banking websites and using various financial systems
