Accounting Policy and Reporting Lead

Job Summary

Leading the accounting policy and financial reporting function, the full-time salaried Head of Accounting Policy and Financial Reporting will ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting while collaborating cross-functionally in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP and assess FASB and SEC developments
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring a strong internal control environment
• Analyze accounting implications for complex transactions, including M&A and new product initiatives

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in accounting within financial services, fintech, or a high-growth technology environment
• Deep expertise in US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience evaluating complex transactions and translating accounting guidance into business decisions
• Proven ability to build and improve internal controls and reporting processes
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with auditors and executive leadership
