Accounting Product Owner

Job Summary

Owning the Accountants Stack, the full-time remote Accounting Product Owner will define strategy and build integrations for accounting systems, expense management, invoicing, and financial reporting tailored for affluent business owners and their accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Define the strategy and develop connectivity to accounting and ERP systems used by customers' accountants
• Build expense management solutions that streamline workflows for owners and accountants
• Architect the integration of business and personal financial data to enhance user experience for both owners and accountants

Required qualifications

• 4 to 10 years of experience in product development for accounting operations
• Deep familiarity with at least two accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite
• Hands-on experience in building or integrating products within accounting workflows
• Understanding of financial operations, including accrual vs. cash basis and audit trails
• Experience working with or building for CPAs and the accountant channel is a plus
