Job Summary
A company is looking for an Accounting Specialist to provide general ledger accounting duties and technical assistance to the Internal Financial Reporting team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform accounting duties, including preparing general ledger entries and performing reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Provide customer service support to internal and external clients, responding to inquiries and preparing financial statements
- Participate as an effective Finance team member, identifying opportunities for improvement and assisting with departmental projects
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting or related field; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn and utilize specialized software
- Commitment to continuous learning and high ethical standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
