Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Financial Reporting team, the full-time remote Accounting Specialist will execute the monthly close process, oversee cash accounting activities, and provide financial reporting oversight related to accounts payable activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the monthly close process, including journal entries, account analyses, and reconciliations
• Oversee daily and monthly cash accounting activities, ensuring accurate cash reporting and bank reconciliations
• Deliver balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysis, providing insights to senior leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Advanced skills in Excel; JD Edwards experience is a plus
• Ability to work additional hours as required due to time-sensitive deadlines
• Self-starter with ownership and initiative in a team environment
