Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the financial operations of a global business, the full-time contract Accounting Specialist will manage general ledger accounts, assist with month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure the accuracy of financial records while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed

Required qualifications

• 6 years of accounting experience with an Associate's degree
• Experience in Accounts Payable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standards affecting financial reporting
