Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

To support day-to-day accounting operations, the part-time contract Accounting Specialist will manage purchase orders, customer invoicing, and inventory follow-up while working remotely on MST hours.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase orders in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and coordinate documentation with logistics partners
• Prepare and send customer invoices, maintaining accurate billing records and monitoring accounts receivable activities
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and communicate with customers regarding orders and shipment updates

Required qualifications

• Experience in accounting support with a focus on accounts receivable and billing
• Working knowledge of accounts payable and broader accounting functions
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise or QuickBooks Online
• Strong Excel skills for reporting and data review
• Ability to investigate inventory discrepancies using analytical judgment
