Accounting Specialist
Job Summary
To support a leading financial services firm, the temporary Accounting Specialist will prepare and review critical financial and operational regulatory reports while working in a hybrid environment in Lone Tree, CO.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review weekly Customer Reserve and Net Capital computations in compliance with SEA rules
- Conduct thorough analysis of the Financial and Operational Combined Uniform Single (FOCUS) report
- Provide support during regulatory examinations and review operational processes for compliance efficiency
Required qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or reporting functions within a regulated financial environment
- Strong analytical and organizational skills for managing complex data
- Proven ability to foster partnerships with stakeholders across the organization
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
