Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Accounting to oversee accounting operations in a government contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and support audit requests
• Document accounting policies and identify opportunities for process improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 8-10 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6-8 years of experience
• Experience in a government contracting accounting environment
• Familiarity with FAR, indirect rates, and DCAA expectations
• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred, but not required
• CPA or CPA eligible is preferred
