Accounting Supervisor
Job Summary
To support the Finance team, the full-time Accounting Supervisor will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensure the accuracy of financial information in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Assist the VP of Finance with monthly financial statements and budget-to-actual reporting
- Provide guidance and support to the accounts receivable and billing team, promoting process improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility
- Experience in a technology, IT services, or recurring-revenue environment preferred
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems and strong Excel skills
