Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary

Managing core day-to-day financial operations, the full-time remote Accounting Supervisor will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and ensure compliance with federal and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll cycles
• Coordinate cross-functional communication among finance, project management, and operations teams
• Compile documentation and schedules for external audits, ensuring audit readiness and compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Auditing
• 5+ years of experience in a professional, high-volume accounting environment
• Experience with government contracting accounting software (e.g., Unanet, Deltek Costpoint)
• Solid understanding of DCAA compliance standards and FAR Part 31 cost principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables
