Job Summary

Accounting Supervisor - Illinois Licensed, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting staff for AVMA Professional Liability Insurance, this full-time position involves supervising accounting team members, tracking financial information, and preparing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide leadership to the AVMA PL Accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions
• Oversee cash entry, invoice processing, and ensure proper recording of financial transactions
• Assist in reviewing financial statements and prepare balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of related accounting experience, including leadership roles
• Strong technical skills in financial accounting and reporting systems
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on business needs
• Experience in interfacing effectively at all organizational levels
