Accounting Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Team Lead, Accounting to oversee essential accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Accounts Payable processes and cash payments for timely vendor payments and compliance with internal controls
• Act as the primary contact with banking partners, managing transactions and resolving discrepancies
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Advanced knowledge of Accounts Payable, cash payments, and the month-end close process
• Strong experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP and SOX/internal controls relevant to accounting
