Accounting Technician

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Accounting Technician will perform clerical accounting duties including reconciliation, calculations, and maintenance of the general ledger while processing and compiling financial data and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Balances, reconciles, and analyzes financial data, assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial reports
• Checks accuracy and completeness of financial information, making adjustments as necessary
• Processes and posts financial information to ledgers, maintaining a portion of the general ledger as required

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate studies in accounting and finance
• Three years of related experience in a clerical capacity, or no experience necessary with an accounting college degree
• Basic knowledge of GAAP
• Ability to operate a personal computer and related business software
• Experience with accounting processing systems
