Accounting Training Specialist

Job Summary

To support dealership clients remotely, the full-time Accounting Training Specialist will deliver structured accounting training on the Lightspeed DMS platform, guiding users through financial reporting and reconciliation workflows over a comprehensive 6-week go-live cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre-calls with dealership accounting staff to assess current processes and set expectations for training
• Deliver 1:1 accounting training covering essential workflows, including accounts payable and receivable, during the go-live period
• Serve as the primary resource for real-time accounting questions and ensure consistent communication with the dealer's go-live trainer

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or controller-support roles, preferably in a dealership environment
• Hands-on experience with dealership DMS, particularly Lightspeed Evolution, and its accounting modules
• Working knowledge of dealership-specific accounting processes such as flooring and vendor packing slips
• Ability to manage multiple dealer engagements and schedules in a remote setting
• Proficiency with virtual meeting and training tools
