Accounts Payable Manager

Job Summary

To support the Central Finance team, the full-time remote Accounts Payable Manager will build and manage the AP function across 15+ international entities, overseeing both strategic process design and daily operational tasks such as invoice processing and payment execution.

Key responsibilities

• Build and design the AP function, transitioning responsibilities from GL accountants to create a centralized process
• Own hands-on AP operations, including processing vendor bills, managing credit card transactions, and executing payment runs
• Implement internal controls by designing a group-wide approval matrix and expense policy to ensure compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Hands-on administration experience with NetSuite and Ramp
• Proven track record of building or optimizing an AP function, including workflows and internal controls
• Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to enhance financial workflows
• Familiarity with VAT treatment and compliance for European entities
