Accounts Receivable Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Premium Accountant, Accounts Receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Review all banking transactions for appropriate documentation and apply cash receipts accurately
• Process refunds of premiums, reconcile carrier statements, and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with company policy
• Collaborate with internal teams to clear cash on account and research discrepancies related to customer payments

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and accounting
• Intermediate knowledge of accounting rules and regulations in the financial service industry
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Word and Excel
• Advanced analytical and mathematical skills
