Accounts Receivable Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage the full cycle of accounts receivable activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit invoices to corporate funders and grant recipients, ensuring compliance with agreement terms
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding accounts through correspondence and outreach
• Reconcile accounts receivable and cash on a monthly basis, ensuring alignment with the general ledger and bank statements

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) related to accounts receivable
• Experience with accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation
• Experience with accounting software systems, preferably Intacct
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounts receivable or accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization
