Accounts Receivable Accountant

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and analytical, the full-time Regional Accounts Receivable Accountant will manage the accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of carrier payment activity while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately record and process incoming cash receipts from insurance carriers
• Reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly cash receipts against bank statements and internal financial records
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to carrier payment applications and account balances

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• 1-3 years of accounting, accounts receivable, or related financial experience preferred
• Experience within a Property & Casualty insurance brokerage environment preferred
• Familiarity with agency management systems such as Applied Epic or HawkSoft preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
