Accounts Receivable Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the Order to Cash team, the contract Accounts Receivable Analyst will apply customer payments, research payment discrepancies, and perform cash application activities in a remote role with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Apply customer payments accurately across various payment methods, including ACH and wire transfers
• Research and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments by collaborating with internal teams and customers
• Utilize Excel tools to analyze payment activity and prepare reports, identifying trends and discrepancies

Required qualifications

• Expertise in cash application processes and payment methods
• Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
• Experience in payment research and resolution of discrepancies
• Ability to conduct root-cause analysis for billing or payment processing issues
• Strong critical thinking skills to identify trends or potential fraud risks
