Accounts Receivable Analyst

Job Summary

Owning cash application and deductions management, the full-time Accounts Receivable Analyst will track and resolve customer deductions, manage relationships with retail partners, and support month-end financial processes in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply daily cash receipts and maintain accounts receivable schedules and reconciliations for month-end close
• Create and maintain a centralized deduction tracking log, establishing workflows for logging and categorizing deductions
• Research and validate customer deductions, coordinating with various departments to substantiate claims and ensure timely resolution

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of accounts receivable and/or deductions experience, preferably in CPG and retail/wholesale environments
• Experience with cash application and account reconciliation, with the ability to research discrepancies
• Familiarity with major retailer customer portals and prior exposure to trade or non-trade deductions
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
