Accounts Receivable Billing Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Billing Representative for a full-time remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims/charges and provide outstanding customer service
• Research difficult accounts and report denial trends to management
• Stay current with payer updates and ensure compliance with billing requirements

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years of experience in medical billing, collections, and reimbursement
• Knowledge of patient billing and electronic billing systems
• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
• Competency in medical terminology and ICD-9/CPT coding
