Accounts Receivable Learner

Job Summary

Supporting day-to-day accounting operations, the part-time Accounts Receivable Learner will manage invoicing, payment processing, and cash application while contributing to process improvements and month-end activities in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage invoicing for wholesale and e-commerce customers, ensuring compliance with pricing agreements
• Record cash and credit memos, and escalate past due AR balances to customers
• Assist in month-end reconciliation of customer invoices and support trade accounting tasks

Required qualifications

• At least a Junior standing or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Conceptual understanding of GAAP principles
• Proficiency in Excel and comfortable working with numerical data
• Interest in the CPG industry, particularly in revenue and trade accounting
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple tasks effectively
