Accounts Receivable Manager

Job Summary

To support a dynamic media advertising environment, the interim Accounts Receivable Manager will manage the AR team, focus on passthrough reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end close tasks, all while utilizing NetSuite in a contract capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the accounts receivable team and oversee the reconciliation of data against the general ledger
• Handle month-end close tasks, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconcile complex invoices with varying contract terms and ensure accurate revenue recognition

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in accounts receivable and accounting with leadership responsibilities
• Prior experience in media, advertising, or similar environments with customized billing structures
• Strong working knowledge of NetSuite for receivables management and financial reporting
• Proven ability to manage month-end close tasks and resolve discrepancies across financial sources
• Solid understanding of revenue recognition concepts related to passthrough charges and AR/AP billing
