Accounts Receivable Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of A/R specialists, the full-time remote Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee billing, collections, and reimbursement processes while optimizing revenue cycle performance and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the accounts receivable team, focusing on cash flow improvement and reducing denials
• Conduct thorough reviews of patient accounts for accuracy and implement strategies to enhance collection rates
• Generate performance reports and mentor team members to meet key metrics and productivity goals

Required qualifications

• Minimum five years of hospital billing and collections experience, including two years in a managerial role
• Proficient understanding of medical terminology and critical access hospital operations
• Experience with CPSI in handling accounts receivable
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in medical billing or healthcare administration is preferred
• Strong analytical skills to resolve complex billing issues
