Accounts Receivable Manager

Job Summary

To optimize revenue cycle operations for cardiology practices, the full-time remote Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee AR functions, ensuring timely collections, accurate billing, and resolution of outstanding claims while leading process improvements across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and enhance AR tracking processes to ensure data integrity and actionable visibility
• Monitor outstanding balances and claims status for timely follow-up and resolution
• Serve as the primary contact for payer escalations and collaborate with billing vendors for claim resolution

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, revenue cycle, or medical billing, preferably in cardiology
• Strong knowledge of payer billing and reimbursement requirements for cardiovascular services
• Proficiency with Athena (athenaOne) or similar EHR/practice management platforms
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage AR operations across multiple practices
• Experience with cardiology-specific services and surgical cardiovascular procedure billing is a significant advantage
