Accounts Receivable Manager
Job Summary
To oversee patient accounting for a legacy application system prior to an Epic go-live, the contract Accounts Receivable Manager will work remotely for an initial duration of 3 months, focusing on managing the billing operations and AR run-down plan.
Key responsibilities
- Manage hospital billing operations and oversee the AR wind-down process
- Develop and implement an AR run-down plan, including aging analysis and cash acceleration strategies
- Coordinate with client billing and revenue cycle management teams to ensure a smooth transition
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in hospital/facility billing AR management
- Track record of leading legacy AR wind-downs, particularly during EHR conversions
- Experience with Eagle (legacy patient accounting) is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Epic Resolute Hospital Billing or PB is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with various teams
