Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative - Self-Pay for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage timely and accurate billing and collections from insurance carriers and private pay clients
• Handle private pay billing and collections for skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
• Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Business Services team to ensure effective patient-focused care

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of recent experience in a healthcare environment focusing on reimbursement and collections
• Experience with insurance contracts and/or Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Completion of college-level courses in medical front office or medical billing is preferred
• Experience with Epic software is preferred
