Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a RCM Accounts Receivable Representative II to manage third-party outstanding accounts and resolve claim issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Process rejections, denials, and correspondence from third-party payors to resolve issues and re-bill claims
• Research complex payor issues and analyze patient account history to facilitate claim resolution
• Serve as the primary contact for inbound calls from insurance companies and assist in mentoring new representatives

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required; Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
• 1 - 2 years of accounts receivable collection experience in healthcare required; anesthesia accounts receivable experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of medical billing/insurance terminology and Medicare, Medicaid, and Blue Shield rules and regulations
• Ability to handle a large volume of work and meet established productivity and quality standards
• Proficient in basic math functions and capable of identifying and solving complex problems independently
