Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collector, CBO.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on outstanding claims and appeals
• Research and audit patient accounts for payment or adjustments
• Maintain productivity standards while working on accounts receivable collector queue

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School graduate or equivalent; Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a healthcare insurance receivables environment
• Two to three years of collection experience required
• Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, and ASA codes
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance processing guidelines
