Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Summary

Focused on collecting payments from insurance companies, the full-time Accounts Receivable Representative will manage patient account follow-up and ensure accurate accounts receivable reporting while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with insurance companies and third-party payers to collect revenue for surgical services
• Handle denials and corrected claims, collaborating with billers and insurance payers to resolve past due accounts
• Ensure accurate and timely follow-up on all accounts receivable to meet cash collection metrics and goals

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Healthcare denials and appeals experience
• Previous experience with infusion and/or chemo billing
• Familiarity with EOB and reading medical policies from payers
