Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Summary

To support a growing revenue cycle team, the full-time Accounts Receivable Representative will manage insurance billing, follow up on claims, and generate patient statements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Follows up with insurance companies on submitted claims and obtains payment status
• Appeals denied claims and actively works to maintain acceptable days in Accounts Receivable
• Identifies billing trends and maintains confidentiality regarding Patient Health Information (PHI)

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Medical Billing field
• Knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
