Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Summary

Overseeing the unpostables process, the full-time Accounts Receivable Representative will manage unapplied cash and unidentified payments while collaborating with various departments to enhance revenue cycle operations.

Key responsibilities

• Researching and resolving unposted records related to insurance and patient payments
• Reconciliation of re-adjudicated claims and making independent decisions on claim adjustments
• Training internal teams and ensuring optimal revenue cycle functionality with practice consultants

Required qualifications

• High School Graduate
• 3+ years of experience in a medical billing office or equivalent claims experience
• Understanding of revenue cycle performance drivers and ability to resolve complex claims
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
• Experience with athenaHeath and/or athenaOne preferred
