Accounts Receivable Representative II

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative II (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable for assigned payers, including collections and follow-up on outstanding accounts
• Review and forward manual claims to appropriate payers and document billing activity on patient accounts
• Monitor claim rejections for trends and provide excellent customer service to patients and third parties

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required; associate degree preferred
• 2 to 4 years of customer service and/or business office experience in a medical setting preferred
• Knowledge of basic patient accounting processes and healthcare terminology strongly preferred
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Dependable in both production and attendance
