Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist / Medical Billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve outstanding accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid claims
• Investigate and resolve insurance claim denials and discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and provide customer service regarding billing inquiries

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance terminology, and billing procedures in a healthcare setting preferred
• Familiarity with billing regulations and compliance requirements preferred
• Experience in a customer service role interacting with clients and healthcare professionals
• Must reside in CT, NY, NJ, or MA
