Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

Managing accounts and billing remotely, the full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist will process insurance payments, handle prescription refills, and follow up on outstanding customer payments in collaboration with the Finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Process insurance payments and ensure accuracy in billing information
• Submit electronic insurance claims and manage claim rejections
• Prepare monthly accounts receivable statements and post customer payments

Required qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy
• 1-3 years of accounts receivable experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of SuiteRX is helpful
• Experience in a long-term pharmacy setting is a plus but not necessary
