Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist 2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verifying patient eligibility and authorization for healthcare services
• Monitoring and resolving unpaid or denied claims
• Preparing claims for clinical audit processing in case of denials

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts receivable follow-up
• Experience with accounts receivable software and navigating payer sites for appeals
• Knowledge of medical business office procedures and third-party payer billing practices
• Experience with hospital and physician accounts receivable
