Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist 1.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and obtain eligibility and authorization from payers
• Research and monitor unpaid or denied claims
• Maintain patient confidentiality and perform related duties as required

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 1-2 years of medical collections or billing experience
• Basic knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and NCCI
• Familiarity with third-party billing guidelines and claim forms (UB04/1500)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Basic understanding of health information systems
