Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the posting of accounts receivable and remittance from various payers.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and post accounts receivable from assigned payers within expected turnaround times
• Research payer websites for posting backup and identify issues with assigned payers
• Ensure aged accounts receivable is managed according to standard operating procedures

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• One or more years of experience in insurance, claims, or accounts receivable
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry preferred
• Strong Excel skills and previous computer experience required
• Ability to manage time and tasks independently while meeting production goals
