Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative-Sub-Acute for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage timely and accurate billing and collections from insurance carriers and private payers
• Handle insurance billing and collections specifically for sub-acute/IP SNF services
• Focus on Medicare and Medi-Cal billing and collections processes

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of recent experience in a healthcare environment focused on reimbursement and collections
• Experience with insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Completion of college-level courses in medical front office or medical billing is preferred
• Experience with Epic software is preferred
